In 2013, when the B.C. government under then-premier Christy Clark announced plans to establish a sovereign wealth finance to reap the benefits from taxation and royalties flowing out of the LNG business, the state was talking about around $260-billion from LNG-related revenues flowing into government coffers more than 30 years, according to having five LNG plants up and running by 2020.
